Once setup, testing, and daily operations training are complete, you are ready to go live. This step ensures your system, staff, and store are fully prepared to start serving customers.

1. Confirm All Settings

Before opening for live transactions, do a final system review.

a. Log in to the Admin Dashboard.​

b. Verify the following:.

  • Store information and business hours
  • Products, pricing, and taxes
  • Payment methods and receipt templates
  • POS terminals and printer connections
  • Employee roles and permissions

 c. Open the POS and confirm everything loads correctly.

 This final check helps prevent issues during live operations.

2. Train Staff

Make sure all staff members are comfortable using the POS.

a. Walk staff through:

  • Logging in and opening a shift
  • Adding products and processing orders
  • Applying discounts and handling refunds
  • Accepting payments and printing receipts
  • Closing shifts and reviewing summaries
b. Allow staff to perform a practice transaction if needed.

c. Review basic troubleshooting steps and who to contact for support.

Proper training ensures faster service and fewer errors.

3. Start Serving Customers

Once everything is confirmed and staff are trained:

a. Open a new shift at the start of the day.

b. Begin processing live customer orders through the POS.

c. Monitor transactions and printer output during the first few orders.

d. Review dashboard reports at the end of the day to ensure everything is tracking correctly.

Your BIYO POS system is now live and ready for daily operations.
