How to View the Stock Metrics Report in Biyo

The Stock Metrics report provides a high-level overview of your inventory's total value, profitability, weekly sales trends, and stock health. It helps managers and business owners monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), track gross margins, and identify items needing immediate reordering or excess stock reduction.
How to Access the Stock Metrics Report
1. Log in to your Biyo Dashboard.

2. Click Reports in the top navigation bar.

3. Under the Product Reports section, select Stock Metrics.

Key Inventory & Profitability Metrics
Sales by Week Trend Chart
The Sales by Week visual chart tracks your product sales trajectory over time:
Stock Level Health & Alerts
The bottom section separates inventory into actionable reordering categories:
Low Stock
Displays items that are at or below their set Min Stock (MS) threshold. Use this table as a quick daily reorder guide to avoid stockouts.
High Stock
Lists items with significant surplus stock on hand compared to their velocity and minimum thresholds. The table provides:
The top summary cards display key performance indicators (KPIs) based on your current inventory and sales activity:
- On-Hand Inventory Value: The total monetary value of all current stock on hand, calculated from your product cost prices.
- Gross Sales: Total sales revenue generated across products within the selected period.
- COGS (Cost of Goods Sold): The total cost to purchase or produce the items that were sold.
- Gross Profit: The net financial gain from product sales before general operating expenses ($Gross\ Sales - COGS$).

- Gross Sales (Purple Line): Displays total revenue volume over consecutive weeks.
- Gross Profit (Blue Line): Displays actual profit margins over consecutive weeks.

- QOH (Quantity On Hand): Current physical units available in stock.
